Legal Wedding Ceremony
A legal marriage on tropical Ko Samui.
In Thailand, as in many countries, a ceremony performed by a Priest, Pastor or Celebrant isn’t legally binding. Much as you would do at home, your marriage becomes legal in the eyes of the law when you sign the appropriate documents with a town, district or city government official. And you can do that here in Thailand and we’re more than happy to provide assistance with this.
Our Legal Wedding Document Service ensures the minimum amount of fuss and time you have to spend completing the legalities. You will need to make a brief visit to your embassy in Bangkok and then our representative in the capital will take care of matters from there. The Samui District Officer can attend your wedding ceremony on the beach where you can sign the official certificates.
If you do wish to get legally married in Thailand rather than your home country you should contact your embassy in Bangkok in the first instance. They will have all the relevant up-to-date information on what is required and what you should prepare. Then contact us with your details and we can make the process of your legal marriage flow seamlessly. We can also assist even if you are getting married at another resort or with another wedding planner and we can deliver the necessary documents to any location in Thailand.
Please explore your options and get in touch with your embassy. If you have 3-5 days to spend in Bangkok before you get married then you could complete all the necessary paperwork within the week yourselves. Otherwise, let us know about your circumstances and we can give you a quote on our legal service and send you details of what you have to do to make the process straightforward and cost effective. And leave you with the maximum amount of time to enjoy everything that Ko Samui has to offer.
