Ko Tao Weddings
Your wedding on divers paradise Ko Tao?
Ko Tao is a couple of hours from Ko Samui by ferry. It was given its name, which means ‘Turtle Island’, by its first settlers because of the shape of the island. Coincidentally though, Ko Tao is an important breeding ground for Hawksbill and Green turtles.
It’s a small island covering an area of just 21 square kilometres and island life is centred on tourism, particularly scuba diving. There’re several very beautiful small bays with excellent beaches. On the west side of the island Mae Haad beach and Sairee beach have wonderful sunsets and the latter has more dining and nightlife options than other parts of the island. Sairee beach also has exceptionally clear seawater and is ideal for snorkeling. Chalok Baan Kao on the south side of the island also has a very good beach and a less developed feel to it. Ko Tao has a full range of accommodation from simple beach huts to up-market resorts.
We do not directly provide wedding ceremonies on Ko Tao. However our independent wedding planners and partner hotels on the island are more than happy to arrange any kind of ceremony and reception that you wish to suit every budget. Please contact us in the first instance for more detailed information.
We can provide a Legal Wedding Document Service anywhere in Thailand should you wish to be legally married as well as take part in a wedding ceremony.
